The 1970 Mach 1 Twister Special Mustang. Now there is a mouth full. The story of the Twister is kind of odd and a tiny bit long so I’ll save it for a Spot light article. The basic upshot is the Twister was created from a 1970 Mach 1 mustang with either a 428 SCJ engines or 351 engines.
Well I’ve been a fan of the Twisters from way back and over the years with the introduction of the 2005 Mustang I have been doing up modern Twisters on and off again. Not being a huge fan of the 2010 style I decided to force myself to use that car as a basis for a Twister. And you know what, I’d own this car in a heart beat.
