Plum Crazy logos

Well I decided to create a logo. This will be for the plum crazy Challenger I’m working on. The car will be my idea of a perfect Challenger. Custom rims, custom paint, snorkel hood, and a host of other features. Currently working on the challenger and I expect to finish it soon.

I wanted this logo to be in the of vein the old Dodge logos in the seventies. Dodge had all kinds of crazy logos for their cars and I wanted something fun and wacky for this one. We’ll see if this one stands the test of time and if it will stay or if it will go.

Mach with a Twist

The 1970 Mach 1 Twister Special Mustang. Now there is a mouth full. The story of the Twister is kind of odd and a tiny bit long so I’ll save it for a Spot light article. The basic upshot is the Twister was created from a 1970 Mach 1 mustang with either  a 428 SCJ engines or 351 engines.

Well I’ve been a fan of the Twisters from way back and over the years with the introduction of the 2005 Mustang I have been doing up modern Twisters on and off again. Not being a huge fan of the 2010 style I decided to force myself to use that car as a basis for a Twister. And you know what, I’d own this car in a heart beat. And the Winner is…

Tammy Ray has has become the first female ever to win the Ridler Award with her fantastic car Gold Digger. The car which started life as a 1933 Ford Phaeton has had about $100K worth of mods done to it. It is a fantastic yet modest example of how to win the Ridler.

The Ridler Award is given each year to the finest first-time-shown hot rod at the Detroit Autorama and is named in honor of Don Ridler.

A big Congrats to Tammy Ray on her fantastic victory!
